Microblading Before & After

Microblading is a semi permanent eyebrow procedure that yields natural strokes that resembles hair. It is done by hand using a very fine blade to deposit a small amount of ink into the skin. This brow technique is best for clients that already have some brow hair and want a more natural transformation. This will work best for clients with normal to dry skin.

Procedure lasts 1-2 year. Maintenance appointments recommended every 6-12 months.

Wash and exfoliate your brows by using your regular soap cleanser. Then, we we will be working with new skin.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine and ibuprofin two days before to minimize oozing/bleeding or swelling after the procedure.

Do not workout the day of the procedure because it expands the pores.

Do not tweeze, wax, tint, or have electrolysis for one week prior to treatment. If you bleach your eyebrows, the chemicals will bleach the pigment as well.

Avoid having your brows done when you are too tanned as tanned skin exfoliates and bleeds and the pigment will not 'take' and will look blurred.

No chemical peels 60 days prior or 60 days after because the chemicals travel under the skin and will fade your eyebrows.

  • Do not wet for 7 days, please wash your face carefully around the eyebrows without getting water on the treated area. If you feel dust or discomfort on the treated area, wipe it gently with alcohol.

  • No rubbing, no picking. The treated area might feel a little ticklish during the first phase of recovering process, it is important not to rub it as you might get infection in your skin. Avoid any sort of peeling of dry skin as you might peel out the wrong parts and create bald spots in newly reconstructed brow.

  • Apply aquaphor on the 3rd day of treatment. Ointment is usually applied in the evening before sleep, some customer might need to apply it 2 times per day. It will help to keep treated area moisturized and soft for the rest of recovery period. Avoid petroleum jelly or vaseline as it can cause a reaction and block skin from breathing.

  • No sun beds, tanning, excessive sweating in the gym, no makeup or anti aging creams on the brow area for at least 10 days. It is best to allow the brow to heal first before using any of the above.

  • The skin of every person heals in different ways. Issues may arise that would be addressed in the second and sometimes third session for a fuller look.
